You chose to quickly pick an Apple on the way to the Olde York Valley Inn.
Margaret jumps the fence and scurries up to the apple tree. This is a little bit of heaven, and Margaret is popping by the farm right at harvest time. She not only grabs one apple, but she fills her bag with three more. She jumps back over the fence and starts trying to find her way again. Margaret turns left and begins heading down the road. She walks two blocks and, oh, no... there is the Elmwood Mansion a block away. She has been walking the wrong way! A man sees her in the distance and takes off running in her direction. Margaret sprints the opposite way, but he is gaining. Margaret jumps back over the fence, but her bag gets caught and she tumbles to the ground.
Edward: "I've got you, Margaret. Did you really think you could get away from me?"
Margaret's days of running are over. Edward Prigg chooses to take her immediately down to the south... despite the law claiming that she has a right to face trial before a judge. Margaret's master will be waiting, and the whipping she will receive is bound to be intense.
